Dr. Janani founded DC Clinic (formerly Derme Cure Skin & Cosmetic Clinic) in 2012, establishing one of Chennai’s early centres dedicated exclusively to primary skin treatments and cosmetic care. Over the years, the clinic has gained recognition for its holistic and patient-focused approach to managing primary skin and cosmetic concerns. With a strong interest in nutritional dermatology, Dr. Janani emphasizes the role of diet and lifestyle in chronic skin conditions.

Dr. Janani completed her medical training in India and gained further clinical experience in dermatology in the United Kingdom. In keeping with the guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC), she does not use the title of “Dermatologist,” as she does not hold an MD in Dermatology in India. Instead, she practices as a Dermatology GP, drawing on her clinical experience in both the UK and India to help patients manage common skin and hair concerns. She also believes strongly in a multidisciplinary approach to care and ensures timely referral to appropriate specialists or tertiary centres whenever advanced evaluation or treatment is required.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Janani is actively involved in scientific writing and has published dermatology articles in several prestigious national and international journals. She is also a cosmetic formulator with a deep interest in cosmetic science and serves as a formulation advisor for cosmeceutical companies.

Dr. Janani’s vision is to develop DC Clinic into a multidisciplinary lifestyle and wellness centre for skin, aesthetics, and preventive health. By collaborating with specialists from different medical fields, she aims to provide accessible, high- quality care and personalized management for chronic lifestyle-related skin and medical conditions. Her future aim is to engage in clinical research focused on obesity, skin immunology, and nutrition, with the goal of strengthening evidence-based treatments and improving patient care and outcomes.

He has extensive experience in robotic hernia repair and robotic gallbladder surgery, combining advanced technology with refined surgical expertise to deliver highly effective and safe procedures. Dr. Charles is also skilled in laser treatment for varicose veins, helping patients recover quickly with minimal discomfort and excellent cosmetic results.

With a strong interest in digestive health, he established a specialized Constipation Clinic at Apollo Speciality Hospital, helping many patients successfully manage chronic constipation and improve their quality of life.
